The Moon Dwellers (The Dwellers, #1)

The Moon Dwellers (The Dwellers, #1) - David Estes Wow, I don't know where to start! Well, first let me start with my first impression of the book which, if you should know, wasn't very postive. I thought it was a very close to the hunger games, but once you get to enter the world that Estes created, the better the story gets. The books shifts between the first person prespective's of both Adele and Roc. This is a thing to applaud Estes on, for he really did pull it off! I find it extremely hard for an author to use this technique without making the two characters sound the same. Estes's writing is neat, and the description of action filled scenes is superb! I found myself fond of Tristan's character more than that of Adele's. I think it's because has a background, a very interesting one at that. One thing in particular I liked was the although he was the president's sun , and pretty much the heart-throb of all the Tri-reals, estes didnt portray him as the humble I-don't-know-what-they-see-in-me kind of guy, which is something I would've found unrealistic. But don't get me wrong, he's not snobby, either. He just knows the effect he can have on people, and on occassions he was pretty much distant from hardships most of Moon and Star Dwellers faced. But it was nice to see how he delt with them and wasn't all like
